Classification happens locally in Chrome. SolicitBlock does not send your email contents to a remote classification service.

The extension uses minimum permissions: local storage, plus access to Gmail pages so it can read the message you already have open.

Allow lists, block lists, and settings stay in your browser. The extension may pull compiled detection rules and policy flags from the SolicitBlock API. Those updates do not include your inbox.

Block collapses a message in place and remembers the sender. It does not delete, archive, or move mail to Spam by default. A remote policy flag may later enable auto-block (or Spam) for known fundraising pipelines; until then the product only warns and lets you choose.
